Compendium of Annotated Measurement Tools that FRIENDS created. They have also linked this through their Logic Model builder around prevention efforts so that the tools match up to outcomes. FRIENDS is the National Resource Center for CBCAP and provides training and technical assistance to Federally Funded CBCAP Programs.

Toolfind is a free, online directory to help youth-serving programs identify tested, low-cost measurement tools. Toolfind is a searchable database containing detailed descriptions of 46 tested tools that are available to programs in 11 youth outcome areas.

Youth Trends: New Fact Sheet Identifies Most Supportive Neighborhoods for Children

A new Child Trends fact sheet explores the connection between neighborhood quality and child well-being and creates a Neighborhood Support Index based on parent perceptions of support from neighbors. The fact sheet includes a state-by-state listing of the proportion of children living in the most supportive neighborhoods. Among the findings: Thirteen percent of children in the U.S. reside in neighborhoods perceived by parents as most supportive and 62 percent of children live in neighborhoods with moderately high support from neighbors. Twenty-six percent of children live in neighborhoods perceived by parents to be the least supportive or those with moderately low support. States located in the Midwest and Northeast have higher proportions of children living in the most supportive neighborhoods.

Child Trends' LINKS (Lifecourse Interventions to Nurture Kids Successfully) database now features descriptions of over 200 evaluated programs that enhance children's development. Each program description includes a brief summary of the type of program, its target population, its intended outcomes, and what experimental evaluations have found the program's impacts to be.
