I Live United As a member of the Chrysler Women’s Forum, I’m part of a dynamic group of women dedicated to helping children grow and thrive at all stages of their lives. Education is an important building block for a good life. Research indicates that 90 percent of the brain’s growth occurs between the ages of 0 and 5, and if children aren’t reading at grade level by third grade, they have a higher potential to drop out of school or face other challenges. United Way is doing something to help children succeed. By focusing on educational preparedness, it is ensuring kids enter school ready to learn, read at grade level, and stay in school through graduation. The Chrysler Women’s Forum helps United Way prepare children to succeed academically and I’ve been proud to volunteer alongside them for the past four years. My name is Michelle, and this how I Live United. Give. Advocate. Volunteer. Live United.
